Swing The Bucket…To start a golf swing, you need a forward press to set off the action. Imagine you are in your stance holding a bucket of water with your hands on either side of the bucket. If you’re going to swing it, you’ll naturally rock forward a bit to create the reaction needed to give momentum to the backswing. Your hands will follow your turn. Your left heel will rise. If you grip too tight, you’ll turn fast. Grip lightly, you’ll swing slow and free. Use this image…it works.
